Welcome to Captain Pauly’s Podcast! I have been a fishing guide in Venice, Louisiana for the last decade. During my time guiding I've met some of the most entertaining characters and heard some of the most incredible stories you can imagine. After much thought, I decided to create my own podcast to preserve and encapsulate these stories to the best of my ability. My guests include charter captains, tournament fishermen, commercial fishermen, boat builders, marine biologists, fishing industry professionals, and many avid recreational fishermen! Andy Fountain comes from a long line of boat builders here along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He did the bulk of restoring my boat, the Lily Faith, which is a 1954 fully wooden 50’ Biloxi lugger by Cavocavich.
