Welcome to Captain Pauly’s Podcast! I have been a fishing guide in Venice, Louisiana for the last decade. During my time guiding I've met some of the most entertaining characters and heard some of the most incredible stories you can imagine. After much thought, I decided to create my own podcast to preserve and encapsulate these stories to the best of my ability. My guests include charter captains, tournament fishermen, commercial fishermen, boat builders, marine biologists, fishing industry professionals, and many avid recreational fishermen! Captain Billy Wells is one of the founders and owner of The Mexican Gulf Fishing Company. He has been a charter captain in Venice for over 20 years. He told many great stories from his time fishing Venice, as well as the evolution of the offshore center console. Enjoy!
