Welcome to Captain Pauly’s Podcast! I have been a fishing guide in Venice, Louisiana for the last decade. During my time guiding I've met some of the most entertaining characters and heard some of the most incredible stories you can imagine. After much thought, I decided to create my own podcast to preserve and encapsulate these stories to the best of my ability. My guests include charter captains, tournament fishermen, commercial fishermen, boat builders, marine biologists, fishing industry professionals, and many avid recreational fishermen! I hope you will join me as I continue to do my best to produce the most entertaining and most profound water-based conversations possible!

Austin Powell is a long time dive partner as well as a great friend! He now fishes with the Intense sport fishing team that has a long track record for being on the leader boards throughout the Gulf of Mexico’s biggest fishing tournaments. I invited him on the show to talk about some of our times out on the water. We had a great time and I hope to have him on again some time!
