Welcome to Captain Pauly’s Podcast! I have been a fishing guide in Venice, Louisiana for the last decade. During my time guiding I've met some of the most entertaining characters and heard some of the most incredible stories you can imagine. After much thought, I decided to create my own podcast to preserve and encapsulate these stories to the best of my ability. My guests include charter captains, tournament fishermen, commercial fishermen, boat builders, marine biologists, fishing industry professionals, and many avid recreational fishermen! I hope you will join me as I continue to do my best to produce the most entertaining and most profound water-based conversations possible!

Dr Marcus Drymon is an ecologist, and his job as assistant extensions professor at Mississippi State University is to make applicable, science-based solutions usable to coastal marine anglers, both commercial and recreational. He also does a ton of research on sharks and the role they play in the environment. It was a fun podcast and very informative. Enjoy!
