Welcome to Captain Pauly’s Podcast! I have been a fishing guide in Venice, Louisiana for the last decade. During my time guiding I've met some of the most entertaining characters and heard some of the most incredible stories you can imagine. After much thought, I decided to create my own podcast to preserve and encapsulate these stories to the best of my ability. My guests include charter captains, tournament fishermen, commercial fishermen, boat builders, marine biologists, fishing industry professionals, and many avid recreational fishermen! I hope you will join me as I continue to do my best to produce the most entertaining and most profound water-based conversations possible!

Dr. Nyman is a wetlands and wildlife professor at LSU and has a PhD in oceanography. Captain Paul Miller had the great honor of taking him fishing and then sitting down to do a podcast to talk about a variety of topics that mainly focus on southeastern Louisiana’s wetlands.
