Episode 3 - Captain Jerry Murphy

Captain Jerry Murphy has been commercial fishing his entire life. In 1992, when he was the captain of the ‘mistake’, he found the El Cazador, a Spanish ship wreck that sank in 1784. After finding the treasure, they did 3 different excavation efforts and recovered over 12,000 pounds of silver coins from the wreck site!  Captain Jerry Murphy was an incredible story teller. In the beginning, he tells a story about how he capsized a vessel that he built, and after that he gets into how he became the captain of the mistake and how he ended up finding the treasure! Enjoy!

Episode 2 - Andy Fountain

Andy Fountain comes from a long line of boat builders here along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He did the bulk of restoring my boat, the Lily Faith, which is a 1954 fully wooden 50’ Biloxi lugger by Cavocavich. I loved hearing Andy talk about the boat and hearing how he grew up working on wooden boats with his family. Tim Holden is known for consistently being on the leader boards in the Mississippi Gulf Coast inshore tournaments. He’s also the owner and founder of T3 tackle, a new custom tackle company. I really enjoyed having him on to hear his story about how and why he started T3 tackle. Enjoy!

Captain Joey Davis has been one of the most well known charter captains in Venice for over 15 years now. He has developed a reputation for putting people on monster yellowfin tuna!  Captain Paul Miller had him on the show in November to talk about his recent catches. Enjoy!

No Live Bait Needed is a lure company that started out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Over the past several years, their baits have exploded in popularity across the country. Captain Paul Miller had the opportunity to fish with the owners of the company, Brandon Ramos and Jose Martinez, and later asked them to do a podcast. Season 5 - Episode 11 - Captain Andrew Bateman

Captain Andrew Bateman is a life long fisherman from deep south Louisiana and currently is a charter fisherman with Paradise Outfitters. In 2025 he stunned the fishing community by catching two massive 265lb Warsaw groupers. Captain Paul Miller had him on the show to talk about those catches as well as others. Enjoy!
