Welcome to Captain Pauly’s Podcast! I have been a fishing guide in Venice, Louisiana for the last decade. During my time guiding I've met some of the most entertaining characters and heard some of the most incredible stories you can imagine. After much thought, I decided to create my own podcast to preserve and encapsulate these stories to the best of my ability. My guests include charter captains, tournament fishermen, commercial fishermen, boat builders, marine biologists, fishing industry professionals, and many avid recreational fishermen! Dawson Doucet has been a sailor for the majority of his childhood. He's also an avid fisherman and is now a first mate for the Mexican Gulf Fishing Company. I had him on the give us a unique prospective as a waterman. Enjoy!
